Like many small business, we were born of a humble beginning. Canwest Tax & Business Consultants began after seeing many small businesses and farms fall through the cracks of these large national business and farm tax accounting firms. In 2001 the original 2 Canwest staff members recognized the huge public demand for our knowledge, integrity, experience and genuine concern for small business owners who were having a hard time getting the kind of help they needed to meet their business needs. Within 3 months it was obvious that we were going in the right direction, feeling the appreciation of our clients and hiring additional team members to help our clients find peace of mind and get on track. By the end of the first six months of business our firm has never looked back.

We know the grey areas
We have found that one of the biggest stumbling blocks for many small business owners is with the endless business management requirements. Many people start out with every good intention but with little or no experience in certain fundamentals like little known government laws that can cost you a lot of time and money if you are not aware of them. There are also many imposed requirements, several restrictions, and some special advantages offered to small business owners that are worth knowing.
